01Mobile & Full-Stack Engineer

Building cross-platform apps that feel native.

I build React Native apps for iOS and Android, and the web products around them — GPU-accelerated graphics, on-device AI, and the performance work that keeps it all at 60fps.

02What I do

Technical expertise

From native-feeling mobile interfaces to the APIs behind them.

01

Cross-Platform Mobile

React Native and Expo across iOS and Android — shared codebases that still respect each platform's native gestures, navigation and feel.

02

Graphics & Motion

GPU-accelerated rendering with Skia and gesture-driven animation with Reanimated, running on the UI thread so complex scenes hold 60fps.

03

On-Device AI

Inference that runs on the handset — llama.cpp and ncnn for local models, Apple Vision for on-device sight, with offline persistence and a UI that never blocks.

04

Performance Engineering

Profiling, render-cycle and bundle work that keeps apps responsive on low-end hardware, not just the latest flagship.

05

Full-Stack Web

Next.js and Node.js front to back, with React Query for caching and sync, plus serverless APIs, MongoDB and Postgres behind them.

06

Interface Design

Designing the screens as well as building them — layout, type and motion decisions made in the same head that ships the code.

04Behind the code

Hewad Mubariz

I'm a full-stack developer and computer science graduate specializing in React Native, with a strong focus on high-performance, user-friendly applications. I care most about the craft layer — Skia and Reanimated for GPU rendering, on-device inference, and the profiling work that makes a cross-platform app feel genuinely native.
